Grants for STEM

Even Nobel Prize winners are getting their research funding renewal applications rejected due to post 9/11 government funding increasingly diverted to defense spending.

Private sector support of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education, research and development should be considered to help our aging population with increasing medical needs as well as America’s prosperity and job engine from tech innovation and entrepreneurship.

Philanthropy for You

Except grants to the Epsilon Alpha Mu™ (EAM) honor society for its Ivy League™ STAR (Science & Technology Awards for Research℠) competition, The Elise Foundation prefers to grant directly to individuals instead of to other public charities.

We particularly support women and minorities in STEM. While grants to individuals are for unrestricted use (including child care, travel, and living expenses), applications must be geared towards a specific project.
